Greek Islands Visa on Arrival

It is a scheme that makes travel to the Greek islands easier. You start your application online; your documents are forwarded to the relevant island port and the visa is stamped into your passport at the border on your travel day.

You can apply for a Visa on Arrival for the islands of Samos, Kos, Rhodes, Lesbos, Chios and Leros.

You start your application by filling in the form above. The required documents, which vary by island and company, are listed on the application screen; after you upload your documents and receive approval, you ship them to the specified address.

Not necessary. In the form you can select the option that matches how you obtained your ticket. If you have not bought your ticket yet, our visa advisor will contact you and help you proceed in the most suitable way.

Up to 6 nights and 7 days. You can also travel for a day trip; for trips with an overnight stay a hotel reservation is required.

The Visa on Arrival is valid only for the island you applied for; you cannot travel to another island with this visa.

The Visa on Arrival is not obtained on the travel day or at the border. Although it varies by island, we recommend applying at least 15 days before travel and that your documents reach the port about 7 days beforehand.

The Visa on Arrival application is only for citizens of the Republic of Turkey.

A paid hotel reservation covering your travel dates and including the names of all passengers is required. For applications made through Feribotlines, the hotel confirmation is provided by us.

The Visa on Arrival is valid only for the Greek island applied for and for a single entry. A Schengen visa, on the other hand, allows travel to Schengen countries throughout its validity period.

We provide all the support we can to prepare your application completely; however, whether the visa is granted is at the discretion of the Greek border authorities and approval cannot be guaranteed by us.
